1. Booking and confirmation

How do I book an ALPS AZUR transfer?

Select your journey, service and vehicle category, enter the required journey and passenger information, review the booking details and price, accept the applicable Terms & Conditions and complete the required payment step. Some standard bookings can be confirmed directly. Services requiring additional operational verification or a personalised offer may follow a validation or quotation process before final confirmation.

Does making a payment automatically mean my booking is confirmed?

Not necessarily. Payment status and booking status are separate. Depending on the booking process, a payment may be authorised or received while operational validation is still required. Your booking confirmation shows the contractual status of your booking.

What is the difference between a request and a confirmed booking?

A request tells us what service you would like. A confirmed booking has completed the applicable contractual confirmation process. A quote request, availability enquiry or preliminary discussion is not automatically a confirmed booking.

Can ALPS AZUR offer a different solution if my original request is unavailable?

Yes. We may propose an Alternative Offer, for example with a different time, vehicle category or other relevant service condition. If it materially changes your booking, it only becomes applicable after the required acceptance. Silence is not acceptance.

Can I book for another person?

Yes. The person making the booking must have the necessary authority and provide accurate passenger and journey information. The passenger, payer and person managing the booking do not necessarily have to be the same person.

Can someone else pay for my booking?

Yes. A third party may pay. Payment does not automatically make that person the Customer or give them authority to modify or cancel the booking.

2. Price and payment

What price will I actually pay?

The authoritative price is the Booking Price shown for the applicable version of your booking. Distances, journey times, map information or other technical calculations may help calculate a price but are not themselves the contractual Booking Price.

What payment options are available?

Depending on the booking, we may offer 100% payment at booking or a 25% advance payment followed by the remaining balance. The 25% advance is an acompte, not arrhes.

Is the price different if I pay 100% instead of 25%?

No. Choosing full payment instead of the 25% advance does not by itself change the Booking Price.

What happens if I book less than 7 days before the journey?

Bookings made less than seven days before the Service are normally payable in full.

Can I pay the balance to the chauffeur?

Only when specifically authorised for your booking. Payment at the time of Service is not an automatic option and the chauffeur cannot independently negotiate a different arrangement.

Can a company have monthly billing or credit terms?

Only under a separate agreed arrangement. Corporate status does not automatically provide credit, deferred payment or 30-day terms.

3. Cancellation

Can I cancel immediately after booking?

Yes. The initial commercial 60-minute period begins at the server-recorded first successful payment authorisation or, if there is no authorisation, the first successful payment. An uncertain or failed attempt does not start it. Cancellation within that period carries 0% cancellation liability. This is a contractual benefit, not a general statutory 14-day withdrawal period for the transport Service.

What are the standard cancellation conditions?

Within the initial 60 minutes: 0% remains due. After 60 minutes and at least 24 hours before the Service: 25% remains due. Less than 24 hours before the Service: 100% remains due, subject to mandatory law and more favourable Particular Conditions.

What are the Peak cancellation conditions?

Within the initial 60 minutes: 0%. After 60 minutes and at least 72 hours before the Service: 25%. Less than 72 hours before the Service: 100%, subject to mandatory law and more favourable Particular Conditions.

Is every Saturday a Peak booking?

No. Peak classification and day-based pricing rules are separate. A Saturday, Sunday or public holiday does not automatically make a booking Peak.

I paid 100%. Do I lose 100% if I cancel?

Not necessarily. The amount paid and the amount contractually due after cancellation are separate. If liability is 25%, the excess paid is refundable.

I only paid 25%. Is 25% the maximum I could owe?

No. The 25% payment is an advance, not an automatic cap on cancellation liability.

What happens if I booked a return journey and only cancel one leg?

The outbound and return legs can be treated separately. Cancelling one leg does not automatically cancel the other. For a clear cancellation request from an authorised person, the time ALPS AZUR receives it determines the applicable window for that leg; administrative checks do not move that time. A question or quotation request is not a cancellation.

4. Changes to a booking

Can I change my booking?

You can request a change. Material changes may require a formal Amendment.

Does sending ALPS AZUR a message automatically change my booking?

No. A message or request does not automatically overwrite the current authoritative booking.

When does a change become valid?

A material Amendment becomes applicable when it has been validly accepted and activated.

Can the price change when I change my booking?

Yes, if the requested change materially changes the Service or resources. Any material price consequence must be communicated before acceptance.

Does changing my booking give me another 60-minute free-cancellation period?

No.

5. Pickup time, flights and trains

Which pickup time is the official one?

The authoritative Pickup Time is the time shown in the currently applicable contractual version of your booking.

Does my flight landing time automatically become my pickup time?

No. Scheduled, estimated and actual flight times are operational information and do not automatically change Pickup Time.

What if my flight is delayed?

Where available, flight tracking may help Operations manage the Service, but it does not silently rewrite Pickup Time. A contractual change uses the applicable Amendment process.

Is landing time the same as the time I should meet my chauffeur?

No. Immigration, baggage, customs, equipment and reaching the meeting point may require additional time.

6. Waiting time and No-Show

How much complimentary waiting is included at an airport?

60 minutes, starting strictly from the authoritative Pickup Time.

How much complimentary waiting is included at a train station?

30 minutes from the authoritative Pickup Time.

What about a hotel, chalet, private address or another normal pickup location?

15 minutes from the authoritative Pickup Time.

Is there any tolerance after the complimentary waiting period?

Yes. An additional 5-minute free tolerance applies.

What happens after the free waiting period and tolerance?

If the chauffeur and vehicle remain genuinely allocated and continue waiting: Economy Van - €60 for the first started paid hour, then €30 per subsequent started 30 minutes. Business / V-Class - €75, then €40 per subsequent started 30 minutes.

Do I pay waiting charges if ALPS AZUR or the chauffeur is late?

No.

If I call the chauffeur and say I am delayed, does waiting become free?

Not automatically. Contact can help Operations but does not automatically extend the complimentary period.

Does the chauffeur leave automatically when free waiting expires?

No. Operations considers the actual situation and may continue, reorganise, replace the resource or stop waiting.

Does the end of the waiting period automatically mean No-Show?

No. Waiting expiry and No-Show are separate decisions.

What happens if I am finally classified as a No-Show?

For a valid Customer No-Show, 100% of the Booking Price for the affected leg remains due, subject to mandatory law and any more favourable Particular Conditions. A separate waiting charge is not added for the same leg after final No-Show. Another return leg is not automatically cancelled.

7. Passengers, children and luggage

How many passengers can travel in an Economy Van?

Up to 8 passengers, subject to actual luggage, child-seat, equipment, mobility-aid and configuration capacity.

How many passengers can travel in a Business / V-Class?

Up to 7 passengers, subject to actual safe capacity.

Can I request a child seat?

Yes. A standard child seat requested and confirmed as part of the Service has no separate surcharge.

How much luggage can I bring?

Passenger capacity and luggage capacity are different. Please provide reasonably accurate luggage information.

What happens if I arrive with much more luggage than I declared?

We first try to find a practical solution. If a different or additional vehicle is genuinely required, an Amendment and additional cost may be necessary. ALPS planning errors are not charged to you.

Are skis, snowboards and golf equipment included?

Yes, when declared and safely transportable within confirmed capacity.

Can I bring a bicycle, surfboard or very large equipment?

These are On Request and may require a special configuration or Bespoke arrangement.

8. Pets and accessibility

Can I travel with a pet?

Yes, subject to practical requirements. Please declare the pet when booking.

Is there a pet surcharge?

Not simply because you travel with a declared pet. A different price may apply only if a genuinely different resource is required.

Can I travel with an assistance animal?

Yes, subject to applicable law, with no surcharge simply because an assistance animal is required.

I have reduced mobility. Can I use ALPS AZUR?

Please tell us the functional transport requirements that affect the journey. A medical diagnosis is not required merely to explain transport needs.

Can I bring a folding wheelchair?

Potentially yes, where the confirmed vehicle has sufficient safe capacity.

Can I remain seated in my wheelchair during the journey?

Only where a vehicle specifically suitable and confirmed for that purpose is provided. Standard Economy and Business vans are not automatically represented as wheelchair-accessible for a passenger remaining seated in the wheelchair.

Is there an extra charge because I have a disability?

No surcharge applies simply because of disability. A specialised resource may have a different price if genuinely required and agreed.

9. Stops, destination and route

Can I ask the chauffeur to make a small stop?

A minor request may be possible if it does not materially change destination, duration, resources or commercial scope.

Can I change the destination during the journey?

You can request it, but a material change may require an Amendment and revised price.

What happens if my chalet or hotel cannot be reached?

We may use the nearest reasonably safe and lawful practical pickup/drop-off point.

Can ALPS AZUR change the route because of traffic or snow?

Yes. A reasonable operational rerouting is not automatically a Customer Amendment and does not by itself create an undisclosed surcharge.

Do you provide cross-border transfers?

Yes, where accepted and lawful. Crossing a border does not automatically make the Service Bespoke.

Will I suddenly be charged extra for crossing a border or using another road?

Not simply for crossing a border. Normal accepted-route costs are included unless clearly stated otherwise; exceptional third-party costs caused by a specific additional request may be additional if disclosed.

10. Vehicle categories and partners

Am I booking an exact vehicle model?

Normally no. Unless expressly guaranteed, you book a vehicle category: Economy Van - Renault Trafic or equivalent, up to 8 passengers; Business / V-Class - Mercedes-Benz V-Class or equivalent, up to 7.

Does a website photo guarantee that exact vehicle?

No, unless a specific model/configuration is expressly guaranteed.

What does 'or equivalent' mean?

A vehicle functionally appropriate for the confirmed Service, considering capacity, luggage/equipment, confirmed needs, service level, safety and legal suitability.

Can ALPS AZUR send a higher-category vehicle?

Yes, with no extra charge merely because ALPS provides a higher category for operational reasons.

What if ALPS AZUR offers a lower vehicle category?

If suitable and accepted, an appropriate price adjustment may apply. A materially unsuitable vehicle is not treated as full performance.

Will my journey always be performed by an ALPS AZUR-owned vehicle and chauffeur?

Not necessarily. ALPS may use an appropriately authorised professional partner.

Does using a partner change my Booking Price?

Not by itself.

Does ALPS AZUR stop being responsible when a partner performs the journey?

No. Partner use does not automatically remove ALPS AZUR's customer-facing contractual responsibilities.

What happens if the original vehicle breaks down?

We first try to preserve the journey using an ALPS resource, approved partner, verified lawful provider or, where appropriate, a taxi or similar lawful solution.

Do I pay more if emergency recovery costs ALPS more?

No.

11. Chauffeur at Disposal — DISPO

What is DISPO?

A vehicle and chauffeur reserved for an agreed period rather than only one point-to-point transfer.

Is DISPO only for companies or VIP customers?

No. It is a normal shared Service Type for private and professional customers.

Which vehicle categories can I book?

Economy Van or Business / V-Class, subject to availability and Service requirements.

What does DISPO cost?

3-hour package: Economy Van €225 (equivalent to €75/hour); Business / V-Class €300 (equivalent to €100/hour). From 4 hours, per whole booked hour: Economy Van €70/hour; Business / V-Class €90/hour. A non-whole initial duration is subject to an individual proposal.

How many kilometres are included?

20 km for each booked hour, pooled across the complete DISPO booking.

Do ALPS positioning kilometres use my allowance?

No.

What happens if I exceed the included kilometres?

Economy: €2.20/km. Business / V-Class: €3.00/km above the total included allowance.

Is fuel included?

Yes, along with normal vehicle operating costs. Exceptional customer-requested third-party costs may be additional when disclosed.

Is waiting included during DISPO?

Yes. The separate Transfer Waiting Fee is not added for the same booked period.

What if I am late at the beginning?

The booked period still begins at the authoritative DISPO Start Time; lateness does not automatically move the End Time.

Can I extend my DISPO?

Subject to operational availability. Economy: €35 per started 30 minutes. Business / V-Class: €45 per started 30 minutes. Material reorganisation may require an individually priced proposal.

Can I finish early and receive a refund for unused hours?

Voluntary early release does not automatically create a proportional refund.

What if I temporarily leave the vehicle?

Temporary absence is not automatically a No-Show; booked DISPO time continues.

Are long Event or multi-day bookings automatically discounted?

No automatic public discount formula applies; complex services may be individually quoted.

12. Conduct, cleaning and damage

What behaviour is expected?

Passengers must not endanger the chauffeur, other passengers, the vehicle or third parties and must follow reasonable safety instructions.

Can ALPS AZUR stop a journey because of passenger behaviour?

Yes, where reasonably necessary for safety or legal compliance.

Do passengers have to wear seat belts?

Passengers must comply with applicable seat-belt/restraint law, subject to legal exemptions.

Can I smoke or vape?

No. Both are prohibited in all vehicles.

Is there an automatic smoking/vaping fine?

No. Actual documented cleaning or damage consequences may apply, without double recovery.

Do you charge for ordinary cleaning?

No. Ordinary cleaning is included.

When does the €150 cleaning charge apply?

It may apply to serious, objectively documented contamination associated with alcohol or drugs.

What if someone becomes genuinely ill?

A genuine illness or accident is reviewed according to the actual circumstances.

What about other excessive soiling?

Actual reasonable documented professional cleaning cost may apply.

What happens if a passenger damages the vehicle?

ALPS may claim actual, reasonable and provable loss, without double recovery.

Can the chauffeur decide how much I pay for damage?

No. The chauffeur documents and reports; they do not create an arbitrary private settlement.

13. Lost property

I left something in the vehicle. What should I do?

Contact ALPS AZUR as soon as reasonably possible with booking and item details.

How long do you keep found items?

Ordinary found items under ALPS control are normally kept for 30 calendar days from registration.

What happens to sensitive or high-value items?

They receive additional care and are not automatically disposed of after 30 days; appropriate secure handover may be arranged.

Will you return my item for free?

A simple nearby handover may be possible without an automatic fee. Courier/postage may be charged at actual reasonable cost. Dedicated chauffeur delivery is a separately priced service.

Can ALPS keep my property until I pay another debt?

No.

14. Breakdown, recovery and compensation

What happens if the vehicle breaks down?

Our first objective is to preserve your journey through reasonable recovery.

Does a breakdown automatically cancel my booking?

No.

Will I be charged more for a replacement vehicle?

Not simply because recovery costs ALPS more.

What if the replacement is a higher category?

No additional charge merely for that reason.

What if the replacement is a lower category?

If suitable and accepted, an appropriate price adjustment may apply.

What happens if a transfer problem causes me to miss a flight or train?

The circumstances are reviewed individually, including Pickup Time, recommendations, customer choice, cause, responsibility, causation, foreseeability, mitigation and evidence. There is no universal automatic compensation table.

Does snow automatically count as Force Majeure?

No. The actual legal criteria and circumstances must be assessed.

What financial resolutions are possible?

Depending on the case: Price Adjustment, Service Refund, Expense Reimbursement, Goodwill or Compensation Claim.

Is compensation limited to €100?

No. Internal goodwill authority limits are not contractual liability caps.

Can I arrange any replacement transport and send ALPS the bill?

Not automatically. Necessity, reasonableness, cost and circumstances are reviewed, without removing mandatory legal rights.

What evidence might be needed?

Depending on the claim: receipts, replacement transport documents, travel documents, photographs or other relevant evidence. ALPS internal records are not automatically conclusive.

15. Corporate, VIP, Event and Private Aviation

Can a company book ALPS AZUR services?

Yes. Corporate customers can book the same core Service Types.

Does a Corporate account automatically include credit?

No. Credit, monthly invoicing or deferred terms require a separate agreement.

Does ALPS AZUR charge a VIP surcharge?

Not simply for the VIP label. Additional price reflects actual additional resources or commitments.

Can I guarantee a specific vehicle model?

Yes, if it is expressly confirmed in the Booking or Particular Conditions.

Can ALPS AZUR manage transport for an event?

Yes. An Event Project can include multiple Bookings/Movements.

Does changing an Event manifest automatically change the contract?

No. A material change may require an Amendment or consolidated Event Change.

Can ALPS provide an Event Coordinator?

Yes, if agreed in advance; scope, hours and price are individually agreed.

Does ALPS provide transport for private aviation passengers?

Yes. Private Aviation is a context; the Service may be Transfer, Return, DISPO or Bespoke.

Is there an automatic Private Aviation surcharge?

No.

Is ALPS AZUR an FBO or ground handler?

No, unless a separate service is expressly agreed and ALPS is legally entitled to provide it.

Can ALPS coordinate with my FBO or handler?

Yes, where authorised and operationally appropriate.

Does ETA/ETD automatically change Pickup Time?

No.

Can the chauffeur collect me beside the aircraft?

Only where airport/FBO/security rules permit and it is operationally possible.

What happens if my private flight arrives early or late?

Operations may replan where reasonably possible, but the flight movement does not automatically rewrite Pickup Time. Dedicated standby should be agreed in advance.

What happens if my aircraft is diverted?

We first assess recovery/reorganisation; a material airport/route/resource/price change may require an Amendment.

16. Privacy, communications and complaints

How does ALPS AZUR use my personal information?

For necessary Service, administration and other lawful purposes described in the Privacy Policy.

Will my chauffeur receive all my personal information?

No. Chauffeurs and partners receive information reasonably necessary for their role.

Are VIP, Corporate, Event or Private Aviation journeys treated discreetly?

Yes, subject to necessary performance, recovery, administration and legal obligations.

Can ALPS publish my name, photograph or journey?

Not for promotion simply because you used the Service; appropriate permission or another valid legal basis is required.

How will ALPS contact me?

Using contact details and channels recorded for the Booking, which may include email, SMS, phone or WhatsApp.

Does a WhatsApp, SMS or email automatically change my Booking?

No.

If ALPS sends me a message, does that prove I accepted it?

Not automatically. Sending, delivery, accessibility, reading and acceptance are distinct.

How do I make a complaint?

Contact ALPS AZUR with enough information to identify the Booking and explain the issue, with relevant supporting material where appropriate.

Should I contact ALPS while the journey is still in progress?

Yes where reasonably possible, because it may allow recovery.

Do I lose my rights if I did not complain immediately?

No, not automatically.

17. Consumer mediation, law and disputes

Is consumer mediation available?

Where the applicable legal conditions are met, a consumer may use the competent consumer-mediation procedure after first making the required complaint directly to ALPS AZUR and where the dispute has not been resolved.

Who is the ALPS AZUR consumer mediator?

On the owner’s confirmation of the concluded arrangement, the mediator is CM2C — Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France; https://www.cm2c.net/; online complaint: https://www.cm2c.net/declarer-un-litige.php; email: declarer-un-litige@cm2c.net.

Do I have to use mediation before going to court?

Mediation does not remove the rights available under applicable law.

Which law applies to my Booking?

French law, without excluding mandatory consumer protections that cannot legally be displaced.

Do I have to bring a consumer dispute to a court in Nice?

No automatic exclusive Nice jurisdiction is imposed on consumers.

Can a Corporate contract contain a specific jurisdiction clause?

A separately negotiated professional agreement may do so where legally valid and applicable.

18. Electronic contract, version and archive

Can my ALPS AZUR contract be concluded completely online?

Yes.

Can I review my Booking before paying?

The electronic process should allow review of essential information and correction of relevant errors before the final action.

Will I see the Terms before payment?

Yes. Applicable Terms must be available before final confirmation/payment in a form that can be consulted and retained as required.

What does the final payment button mean?

It must clearly indicate that the order entails a payment obligation and show the relevant amount due at that stage.

Is accepting the Terms the same as making the payment?

No. They are related but distinct events.

Do the Terms on the website today automatically apply to an older Booking?

No. The applicable version is the version identified for that Booking, subject to mandatory law.

Does changing my Booking automatically move me to the newest Terms?

No.

What documents make up my contract?

Depending on the Booking: the authoritative Booking, applicable Terms, Particular Conditions/formal quote and valid accepted/activated Amendments.

Can a Particular Condition override the general Terms?

Yes, for the specific matter it expressly addresses, subject to mandatory law.

Does ALPS keep an electronic record of my contract?

Where applicable, yes. The record should be capable of reconstructing the Booking, Terms, Particular Conditions, formation evidence and valid Amendments.

Do I need an ALPS account to have contractual rights?

No.

Does contract archiving mean ALPS keeps all my personal data for the same period?

No. Contract retention and personal-data retention are separate.

What happens if one clause of the Terms is invalid?

Independent remaining provisions can continue where the contract can reasonably operate without the invalid clause.

If ALPS makes an exception once, does that become a permanent right?

Not automatically.

Is making a complaint or disputing a payment considered bad faith?

No, not by itself.

What will I receive after my Booking is concluded?

An applicable durable electronic contractual confirmation identifying the essential Booking and contractual information.

Is a Booking Confirmation the same as a payment receipt or invoice?

No. They serve different purposes.

What should I check in my Booking Confirmation?

Pickup date/time, pickup/destination, one-way/return, vehicle category, passenger details, declared luggage/special requirements, Booking Price and Particular Conditions.

19. Luggage warnings — supplementary owner-approved explanation

What do yellow and red luggage warnings mean?

They flag an estimated capacity concern. Yellow means the fit is borderline; red calls for review, correction or further details or photos. You may acknowledge the warning and continue, subject to human validation of the booking and the vehicle’s actual capacity.

Does acknowledging a luggage warning guarantee the luggage will fit?

No. Acknowledgment does not waive safety requirements or guarantee carriage. It creates no automatic charge for an extra vehicle. If a material extra resource is genuinely needed, a price change requires an accepted Amendment under the Terms; ALPS AZUR does not charge the customer for its own planning error.
